Why the blue dot?

It's not a blue dot, it's a blue sphere! It's a reminder to us that the earth is 2/3rds water... that we live on a water planet.

Are they slip resistant?

All of our sandals and shoes are designed for maximum grip. We use a proprietary outsole compound called Gripstick™ rubber and a patent pending Quad Cut™ siping design which combine to provide maximum grip on wet and uneven surfaces.

My foot is really narrow/wide, will the shoes and sandals fit me?

The Super Structure upper and Super Structure Cord work in tandem to comfortably secure your foot to the footbed... this system is designed to fit a broad spectrum of feet.

What if the cord breaks?

The Super Structure Cord should last the lifetime of the shoes. It's made of a 2-layer, climbing grade cord that is super tough and durable. If in the unlikely event the cord breaks, give us a call.

Does the liner come out of the Flood Tide Shoe?

The footbed locks in, but can be removed if you wish.

Are they heavy?

A size 9 men's sandal weighs about 12.5 ounces, which is very light for performance footwear.

Will they harbor odor?

We use an eco-friendly antibacterial to help reduce the potential for stinky shoes. The antibacterial will not leach onto skin or into the environment. Having said that, if you wear your shoes a lot, there's a good chance that the footbed will get a slight build up of dirt and potentially "harbor" some odor... if that happens, just use a mild soap, water and a brush to clean and freshen them.
